ABOUT OUR BOX
CrossFit Galvanize is a fitness facility or "Box" operated by a close group of CrossFit athletes that wanted to offer an unparalleled level of expertise, community, and fitness to the Sacramento area. All of our coaches work on the principle of leading by example, so rest assured not only do we preach but we practice! For those of you that are new to fitness, don't be intimidated! Come join us and let us help you achieve your fitness goals with our knowledge and experience!

WHAT IS CROSSFIT?
Quite simply CrossFit is a method of training to optimize ones fitness through constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity
WORLD CLASS FITNESS IN 100 WORDS
Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.

CrossFit incorporates all aspects of fitness including: gymnastics, cardio/respiratory, aerobic and anaerobic exercises, olympic weight lifting, power lifting, hypertrophy training, nutrition, and overall lifestyle.
